The Wiktor Osiatyński Archive and OKO.press cordially invite you to an online debate on the ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union regarding the disciplinary system for judges in Poland, including the muzzle law (case reference C-204/21).

 

The CJEU will announce its ruling on Monday, June 5th. It will mark 3 years, 5 months, and 16 days since the adoption of the muzzle law, as well as 3 years, 3 months, and 22 days since its entry into force.

A leading legal expert in the field of the rule of law, he is also a Visiting Professor of Law at Bordeaux University, a Senior Research Fellow at the CEU Democracy Institute in Budapest, and the co-director of The Good Lobby Profs



Monika Frąckowiak

Judge of the District Court in Poznań, Vice President of MEDEL (Magistrats Européens pour la Démocratie et les Libertés), and a member of the Polish Judges Association „Iustitia”.



Patryk Wachowiec

Legal Analyst at the Civil Development Forum (FOR Foundation) and the co-founder of CADR Institute. He was a fellow at the Bingham Centre For the Rule of Law. Co-founder and co-editor of the English-language website Rule of Law in Poland.
